DHAKA, Feb 13, 2026 (BSS) - BNP candidate SM Jahangir Hossain has been elected unofficially from Dhaka-18 constituency in the 13th national parliamentary elections.

He secured 1,44,715 votes while his nearest rival National Citizen Party (NCP) Ariful Islam received 1,11,297 votes.

Senior Secretary of the Election Commission Secretariat announced the results at the Result Collection and Dissemination Centre at Nirbachan Bhaban in Agargaon in the capital today.
