DHAKA, Feb 13, 2026 (BSS) - Bangladesh Nationalist Party (BNP) candidate 
Shoriful Alam has been unofficially elected from the Kishoreganj-6 
constituency in the 13th National Parliamentary Election, securing 1,87,159 
votes with the party symbol 'Sheaf of Paddy'.

According to the unofficially announced results, his closest rival, Ataullah 
Amin of Khelafat Majlis received 44,095 votes.

Meanwhile, in the referendum in this constituency, the 'Yes' secured 1,57,683 
votes while the 'No' got 60,002 votes. 

The information was disclosed during a formal briefing at the Referendum and 
Thirteenth National Parliamentary Election 2026 Results Collection and 
Presentation Center of the Election Commission, held at the Agargaon Election 
Building in the capital.
