DHAKA, Feb 13, 2026 (BSS) - BNP candidate Joynul Abedin has been elected unofficially from Barishal-3 constituency in the 13th National Parliament Election.

He secured 80,930 votes while his nearest rival Amar Bangladesh Party (AB Party) candidate Mohammad Asaduzzaman Bhuiyan received 61,192 votes.

In the referendum, 122,305 voters cast 'Yes' votes while 40,636 others cast 'No' votes in this constituency.

The results were announced at the Result Collection and Dissemination Centre at Nirbachan Bhaban in Agargaon in the capital today.
