RANGPUR, Feb 13, 2026 (BSS) – In the 13th Jatiya Sangsad (JS) elections held on Thursday, the Bangladesh Nationalist Party (BNP) won 14 seats and 11-party alliance 18 and independent candidate one seat out of a total of 33 seats in Rangpur division.
Rangpur Regional Election Officer Md Delwar Hossain told BSS that the BNP candidates won two seats in Panchagarh, three in Thakurgaon, five in Dinajpur, three in Lalmonirhat and one seat in Gaibandha districts.
The seats won by BNP candidates are Panchagarh-1, Panchagarh-2, Thakurgaon-1, Thakurgaon-2, Thakurgaon-3, Dinajpur-1, Dinajpur-2, Dinajpur-3, Dinajpur-4 and Dinajpur-6, Lalmonirhat-1, Lalmonirhat-2 and Lalmonirhat-3 and Gaibandha-3 in the division.
Meanwhile, the Bangladesh Jamaat-e-Islami candidates won 16 seats and NCP won two seats from the 11-party alliance in the division.
he 16 seats won by the Bangladesh Jamaat-e-Islami candidates are Nilphamari-1, Nilphamari-2, Nilphamari-3, Nilphamari-4, Rangpur-1, Rangpur-2, Rangpur-3, Rangpur-5, Rangpur-6, Kurigram-1, Kurigram-3, Kurigram-4, Gaibandha-1, Gaibandha-2, Gaibandha-3 and Gaibandha-5 in the division.
The 11-party alliance supported NCP candidates won two seats of Rangpur-4 and Kurigram-2 in the division.
The Dinajpur-5 seat went to an independent candidate.
In Panchagarh, BNP candidate Muhammad Nawshad Jamir won the Panchagarh-1 parliamentary constituency bagging 1,76,169 votes while his nearest rival candidate Md Sarjis Alam of NCP got 1,68,049 votes.
BNP candidate Farhad Hossain Azad won the Panchagarh-2 seat bagging 1,74,650 votes while his nearest rival Bangladesh Jamaat-e-Islami candidate Md Safiul Alam got 1,28,862 votes.
In Thakurgaon, BNP candidate Mirja Fakhrul Islam Alamgir won the Thakurgaon-1 parliamentary constituency bagging 2,38,836 votes while his nearest rival Bangladesh Jamaat-e-Islami candidate Delowar Hossain got 1,41,017 votes.
BNP candidate Md Abdus Salam won the Thakurgaon-2 seat bagging 1,21,017 votes while his nearest rival Bangladesh Jamaat-e-Islami candidate Md Abdul Hakim got 1,15,707 votes.
BNP candidate Md Zahidur Rahman won the Thakurgaon-3 seat bagging 1,32,797 votes while his nearest rival Bangladesh Jamaat-e-Islami candidate Md Mizanur Rahman got 91,934 votes.
In Dinajpur, BNP candidate Md Mnjurul Islam won the Dinajpur-1 seat bagging 1,79,314 votes while his nearest rival Bangladesh Jamaat-e-Islami candidate Md Matiur Rahman got 1,17,481 votes.
BNP candidate Md Sadiq Reaz won the Dinajpur-2 seat bagging 1,39,622 votes while his nearest rival Bangladesh Jamaat-e-Islami candidate AKM Afzalul Anam got 1,04,887 votes.
BNP candidate Syed Jahangir Alam won the Dinajpur-3 seat bagging 1,40,608 votes while his nearest rival Bangladesh Jamaat-e-Islami candidate Md Mainul Alam got 1,36,239 votes.
BNP candidate Md Akhteruzzaman Mia won the Dinajpur-4 seat bagging 1,66,717 votes while his nearest rival Bangladesh Jamaat-e-Islami candidate Md Aftab Uddin Molla got 1,29,056 votes.
Independent AZM Rezwanul Haque won the Dinajpur-5 seat bagging 1,14,484 votes and his nearest rival was NCP candidate Md Abdul Ahad who bagged 1,10,195 votes.
BNP candidate Abu Jafar Md Zahid Hossain won the Dinajpur-6 seat bagging 2,05,118 votes while his nearest rival Bangladesh Jamaat-e-Islami candidate Md Anwarul Islam got 1,90,703 votes.
In Nilphamari, Bangladesh Jamaat-e-Islami candidate Md Abdus Sattar won the Nilphamari-1 seat bagging 1,50,824 votes while his nearest rival Jamiyote Ulamaye Islam Bangladesh candidate Moulana Md Manjurul Islam got 1,19,059 votes.
Bangladesh Jamaat-e-Islami candidate Alfaruk Abdul Latif won the Nilphamari-2 seat bagging 1,46,430 votes while his nearest rival BNP candidate Shahrin Islam got 1,35,418 votes.
Bangladesh Jamaat-e-Islami candidate Obaidullah Salafi won the Nilphamari-3 seat bagging 1,09,686 votes while his nearest rival BNP candidate Alhaj Syed Ali got 89,807 votes.
Bangladesh Jamaat-e-Islami candidate Abdul Muntakim won the Nilphamari-4 seat bagging 1,26,222 votes while his nearest rival BNP candidate Md Abdul Gafur got 82,086 votes.
In Lalmonirhat, BNP candidate Md Hasan Rajib Prodhan won the Lalmonirhat-1 seat bagging 1,38,686 votes while his nearest rival Bangladesh Jamaat-e-Islami candidate Md Anwarul Islam Raju got 1,29,572 votes.
BNP candidate Md Rokan Uddin Babul won the Lalmonirhat-2 seat bagging 1,23,946 votes while his nearest rival Bangladesh Jamaat-e-Islami candidate Md Feroz Haider got 1,17,252 votes.
BNP candidate Asadul Habib Dula won the Lalmonirhat-3 seat bagging 1,39,651 votes while his nearest rival Bangladesh Jamaat-e-Islami candidate Md Abu Taher got 56,244 votes.
In Rangpur, Bangladesh Jamaat-e-Islami candidate Md Raihan Siraji won the Rangpur-1 seat bagging 1,47,245 votes while his nearest rival BNP candidate Md Mokarram Hossain Sujan got 69,131 votes.
Bangladesh Jamaat-e-Islami candidate ATM Azharul Islam won the Rangpur-2 seat bagging 1,35,556 votes while his nearest rival BNP candidate Mohammad Ali Sarker got 80,538 votes.
Bangladesh Jamaat-e-Islami candidate Md Mahbubur Rahman (Belal) won the Rangpur-3 seat bagging 1,78,064 votes while his nearest rival BNP candidate Md Samsuzzaman Samu got 85,498 votes.
NCP candidate Akhter Hossen won the Rangpur-4 seat bagging 1,49,966 votes while his nearest rival BNP candidate Mohammad Emdadul Haque Bharasha got 1,40,564 votes.
Bangladesh Jamaat-e-Islami candidate Md Golam Rabbani won the Rangpur-5 seat bagging 1,76,411 votes while his nearest rival BNP candidate Md Golam Rabbani got 1,15,116 votes.
Bangladesh Jamaat-e-Islami candidate Md Nurul Amin won the Rangpur-6 seat bagging 1,20,128 votes while his nearest rival BNP candidate Md Saiful Islam got 1,17,703 votes.
In Kurigram, Bangladesh Jamaat-e-Islami candidate Md Anwarul Islam won the Kurigram-1 seat bagging 1,41,090 votes while his nearest rival BNP candidate Md Saifur Rahman Rana got 1,23,025 votes.
NCP candidate Atikur Rahman Mozahid won the Kurigram-2 seat bagging 1,80,526 votes while his nearest rival BNP candidate Md Sohel Hoasnine Kaikobad got 1,71,405 votes.
Bangladesh Jamaat-e-Islami candidate Md Mahbubul Alam won the Kurigram-3 seat bagging 1,07,930 votes while his nearest rival BNP candidate Tasvirul Islam got 79,352 votes.
Bangladesh Jamaat-e-Islami candidate Md Mostafizur Rahman won the Kurigram-4 seat bagging 1,08,210 votes while his nearest rival BNP candidate Md Azizur Rahman got 84,423 votes.
In Gaibandha, Bangladesh Jamaat-e-Islami candidate Md Majedur Rahman won the Gaibandha-1 seat bagging 1,40,726 votes while his nearest rival BNP candidate Khondker Ziaul Islam Mohammad Ali got 37,997 votes.
Bangladesh Jamaat-e-Islami candidate Md Abdul Karim won the Gaibandha-2 seat bagging 1,22,630 votes while his nearest rival BNP candidate Md Anisuzzaman Khan Babu got 92,890 votes.
Bangladesh Jamaat-e-Islami candidate Abul Kawser Mohammad Nazrul Islam won the Gaibandha-3 seat bagging 1,62,457 votes while his nearest rival BNP candidate Professor Dr Moynul Hasan Sadiq got 1,39,864 votes.
BNP candidate Mohammad Shameem Kaiser won the Gaibandha-4 seat bagging 1,42,772 votes while his nearest rival Bangladesh Jamaat-e-Islami candidate Md Abdur Rahim Sarker got 1,39,738 votes.
