DHAKA, Feb 13, 2026 (BSS) - BNP Chairman Tarique Rahman has been elected unofficially from Bogura-6 constituency in the 13th National Parliament Election.

He secured 216,284 votes while his nearest rival Bangladesh Jamaat-e-Islami candidate Md Abidur Rahman received 97,626 votes.

In the referendum, 215,579 voters cast 'Yes' votes while 80,203 others cast 'No' votes in this constituency.

The results were announced at the Result Collection and Dissemination Centre at Nirbachan Bhaban in Agargaon in the capital today.
