DHAKA, Feb 13, 2026 (BSS) - BNP candidate Golam Mohammad Siraj has been elected unofficially from Bogura-5 constituency in the 13th National Parliament Election.

He secured 248,841 votes while his nearest rival Bangladesh Jamaat-e-Islami candidate Md Dabibur Rahman received 143,329 votes.

In the referendum, 246,416 voters cast 'Yes' votes while 105,643 others cast 'No' votes in this constituency.

The results were announced at the Result Collection and Dissemination Centre at Nirbachan Bhaban in Agargaon in the capital today.
