BNP's Md Abdullah elected from Munshiganj-1 unofficially

DHAKA, Feb 13, 2026 (BSS) - Bangladesh Nationalist Party (BNP) candidate Md Abdullah has been unofficially elected from the Munshiganj-1 constituency in the 13th National Parliamentary Election, securing 167562 votes.

According to the unofficial results, his nearest rival, Abdur Rahman of Bangladesh Jamaat-e-Islami received 101568 votes.

The results were formally announced at the Referendum and 13th National Parliamentary Election-2026 Results Collection and Presentation Center of the Election Commission. The announcement was made during a briefing held at the Agargaon Election Building in the capital.
