DHAKA, Feb 13, 2026 (BSS) - BNP candidate Md Jahandar Ali Miah has been elected unofficially from Madaripur-2 constituency in the 13th Jatiya Sangsad (JS) Election.

He bagged 61,744 votes while his nearest rival independent candidate Milton Baidya secured 46,476 votes.

In the referendum, 88,317 voters cast 'yes' vote while 87911 others cast 'no' vote in this constituency. 

The results were announced at the Result Collection and Dissemination Centre at Nirbachan Bhaban in the capital's Agargaon today.
