BNP candidate Wahid wins unofficially Mymensingh-4

DHAKA, Feb 13, 2026 (BSS) - Bangladesh Nationalist Party (BNP) candidate Md Abu Wahab Akand Wahid has been unofficially elected from the Mymensingh-4constituency in the 13th National Parliamentary Election, securing 1,79,668 votes.


According to the unofficially announced results, his closest rival, Bangladesh Jamaat-e-Islami candidate Mohammad Kamrul Ahsan, has received 1,71,880 votes.


In the same constituency, a total of 2, 50,708 'yes' votes were cast, while 93,293 voters cast 'no' votes.


The information was disclosed during a formal briefing at the Referendum and Thirteenth National Parliamentary Election 2026 Results Collection and Presentation Center of the Election Commission, held at the Agargaon Election Building in the capital.
