DHAKA, Feb 13, 2026 (BSS) - BNP candidate Nayab Yusuf Ahmed Islam has been elected unofficially from Faridpur-3 constituency in the 13th National Parliament Election.

He secured 1,48,545 votes while his nearest rival Bangladesh Jamaat-e-Islami candidate Md Abdut Tawab received 1,24,115 votes.

In the referendum, 1,79,050 voters cast 'Yes' votes while 80,537 others cast 'No' votes in this constituency.

The results were announced at the Result Collection and Dissemination Centre at Nirbachan Bhaban in Agargaon in the capital today.
