DHAKA, Feb 13, 2026 (BSS) - Bangladesh Nationalist Party (BNP) candidate Sardar Sarfuddin Ahmed has been unofficially elected from the Barishal-2 constituency in the 13th National Parliamentary Election, securing 1,41,622 votes.

According to the unofficial results, his closest rival, Bangladesh Jamaat-e-Islami candidate Abdul Mannan, received 74,082 votes.

In the same constituency, a total of 1, 34,278 'yes' votes were cast, while 80,966 voters cast 'no' votes in the referendum. 

The results were disclosed at the Referendum and Thirteenth National Parliamentary Election 2026 Results Collection and Presentation Center of the Election Commission, at the Agargaon Election Building in the capital.
