DHAKA, Feb 13, 2026 (BSS) - BNP candidate Habibur Rashid has been elected unofficially from the Dhaka-9 constituency in the 13th Jatiya Sangsad (JS) Election.

He bagged 1,11,212 votes with Sheaf of Paddy symbol while his nearest rival National Citizen Party (NCP) candidate Mohammad Zaved Mia secured 53,460 votes with Shapla Koli (Water Lily Bud) symbol.

The results were announced at the Result Collection and Dissemination Centre at Nirbachan Bhaban in the capital's Agargaon today.
