DHAKA, Feb 13, 2026 (BSS) - Bangladesh Nationalist Party (BNP) candidate Khandaker Abu Ashfaq has been elected unofficially from Dhaka-1 constituency in the 13th Jatiya Sangsad (JS) Election.

He bagged 1, 73,781 votes while his nearest rival Bangladesh Jamaat-e-Islami candidate Mohammad Nazrul Islam got 1,12,622 votes.

The results were announced at the Result Collection and Dissemination Centre at Nirbachan Bhaban in the capital's Agargaon today.
