DHAKA, Feb 13, 2026 (BSS) - Bangladesh Jamaat-e-Islami candidate Md Izzat Ullah has been unofficially elected from the Satkhira-1 constituency in the 13th National Parliamentary Election, securing 1,93,772 votes.

According to the unofficial results, his closest rival BNP candidate Md Habibul Islam Habib received 1,69,995 votes.

In the same constituency, a total of 2,28,404 voters cast for 'yes' while 1,21,256 people cast 'no' votes in the referendum. 

The results were announced at the Result Collection and Dissemination Centre at Nirbachan Bhaban in the capital's Agargaon today.
