DHAKA, Feb 13, 2026 (BSS) - BNP candidate Dr Khandaker Mosharraf Hossain has been elected unofficially from Cumilla-1 constituency in the 13th Jatiya Sangsad (JS) Election.

He secured 1,41,440 votes while his nearest rival Bangladesh Jamaat-e-Islami candidate Md Maniruzzaman bagged 94,845 votes.

In this constituency, 1,71,139 voters cast votes for 'Yes' while 55,556 cast 'No' votes in the referendum.

The results were announced at the Result Collection and Dissemination Centre at Nirbachan Bhaban in the capital's Agargaon today.
