DHAKA, Feb 13, 2026 (BSS) - BNP candidate AM Mahbub Uddin has been elected unofficially from Noakhali-1 constituency in the 13th Jatiya Sangsad (JS) Election.

He bagged 1,26,833 votes while his nearest rival Bangladesh Jamaat-e-Islami candidate Md Saif Ullah got 98,036 votes.

In this constituency, 1,85,090 voters cast votes for 'Yes' while 68,947 others cast 'No' votes in the referendum.

The results were announced at Result Collection and Dissemination Centre at Nirbachan Bhaban in the capital's Agargaon today.
