DHAKA, Feb 13, 2026 (BSS) - Bangladesh Jamaat-e-Islami candidate Md Abu Talib has been elected unofficially from Jhenaidah-4 constituency in the 13th Jatiya Sangsad (JS) Election.

He bagged 1, 05,999 votes while his nearest rival independent candidate Md Saiful Islam Feroz got 77,104 votes.

In this constituency, 1,57,707 voters cast votes for 'Yes' while 65,526 others cast 'No' votes in the referendum.

The results were announced from Result Collection and Dissemination Centre at Nirbachan Bhaban in the capital's Agargaon today.
