BNP's ABM Ashraf Uddin unofficially elected from Lakshmipur-4

DHAKA, Feb 13, 2026 (BSS) - ABM Ashraf Uddin, candidate of the Bangladesh Nationalist Party (BNP), has been unofficially elected from the Lakshmipur-4 constituency in the 13th National Parliamentary Election, securing 115,199 votes.

According to the unofficial results, his closest rival, Md Ashrafur Rahman Hafizullah of Bangladesh Jamaat-e-Islami, received 73,756 votes.

In the same constituency, a total of 146,343 voters cast 'yes' votes, while 60,378 voted 'no', reflecting significant participation in the referendum process held alongside the parliamentary polls.

The results were disclosed during a formal briefing at the Referendum and Thirteenth National Parliamentary Election-2026 Results Collection and Presentation Center of the Election Commission. The briefing took place at the Agargaon Election Building in the capital.
