BNP candidate Ehsanul Hoque Milon wins unofficially from Chandpur-1

DHAKA, Feb 13, 2026 (BSS) - BNP candidate ANM Ehsanul Hoque Milon has been elected unofficially from Chandpur-1 constituency in the 13th Jatiya Sangsad Election.

He bagged 1,33,032 votes, while his nearest rival Bangladesh Jamaat-e-Islami candidate Abu Nohar Muhammad Makbul Ahmad got 70,368 votes.

In the referendum, 1,11,453 voters cast votes for 'Yes', while 80,949 others cast 'No' votes. 

The result was announced from the Result Collection and Dissemination Centre at Nirbachan Bhaban in the capital's Agargaon today.
