DHAKA, Feb 13, 2026 (BSS) - Bangladesh Nationalist Party (BNP)-nominated candidate Md Abdul Mannan has won unofficially from Brahmanbaria-5 constituency in the 13th Jatiya Sangsad (JS) Election.

He secured 85,769 votes while his nearest rival independent candidate Kazi Nazmul Hossain got 84,708 votes.

In this constituency, 1,66,631 voters cast "yes" vote while 57,641 others cast "no" vote in the referendum. 

Election Commission Senior Secretary Akhtar Ahmed announced the result at the Result Collection and Dissemination Centre at Nirbachan Bhaban in the capital's Agargaon today.
