DHAKA, Feb 13, 2026 (BSS) - BNP candidate Mushfiqur Rahman has been elected unofficially from Brahmanbaria-4 constituency in the 13th Jatiya Sangsad (JS) Election.

He bagged 1,39,842 votes while his nearest rival Bangladesh Jamaat-e-Islami candidate Md Ataur Rahman Sarkar got 91,796 votes.

In this constituency, 1, 50,036 voters cast votes for 'Yes' while 71,226 others cast 'No' votes in the referendum.

The results were announced from Result Collection and Dissemination Centre at Nirbachan Bhaban in the capital's Agargaon today.
