DHAKA, Feb 13, 2026 (BSS) - Bangladesh Jamaat-e-Islami candidate Muhammad Moslehuddin Farid has been elected unofficially from Jashore-2 constituency in the 13th Jatiya Sangsad (JS) Election.

He bagged 1,80,965 votes while his nearest rival BNP candidate Mst Sabira Sultana got 1,46,447 votes.

In this constituency, 2,14,483 voters cast votes for 'Yes' while 96,107 others cast 'No' votes in the referendum.

The results were announced from Result Collection and Dissemination Centre at Nirbachan Bhaban in the capital's Agargaon today.
