DHAKA, Feb 13, 2026 (BSS) - Bangladesh Nationalist Party (BNP) candidate Md Nurul Islam has been declared winner from Barguna-2 constituency in unofficial results of the 13th Jatiya Sangsad (JS) Election.

He bagged 90,643 votes while his nearest rival Bangladesh Jamaat-e-Islami candidate Sultan Ahmed secured 85,247 votes.

Election Commission Senior Secretary Akhtar Ahmed announced the result at the Result Collection and Dissemination Centre at Nirbachan Bhaban in the capital's Agargaon today.
