DHAKA, Feb 13, 2026 (BSS) - BNP candidate Md Mostafizur Rahman has been 
unofficially elected from Naogaon-1 constituency in the 13th National 
Parliamentary Election.

He secured 1,73,864 votes while his nearest rival Bangladesh Jamaat-e-Islami 
Md Mahbubul Alam got 1,53,816 votes.

In the Referendum, 2,19,689 voters cast votes for 'Yes' while 1,06,016 others 
cast 'No' votes.

Akhtar Ahmed, senior secretary of the Election Commission, announced the 
result today at the Result Collection and Dissemination Centre at Nirbachan 
Bhaban in the capital's Agargaon.
