DHAKA, Feb 13, 2026 (BSS) - Bangladesh Jamaat-e-Islami candidate Md Abdul 
Bari Sarder has unofficially secured victory in the Rajshahi-4 constituency 
in the 13th National Parliament Election.

Sarder received a total of 1,15,226 votes, comfortably defeating his closest 
rival DMD Ziaur Rahman of Bangladesh Nationalist Party (BNP), who secured 
1,09,461 votes.

The information was formally announced by Akhtar Ahmed, senior secretary of 
the Election Commission of Bangladesh, during a press briefing at the Result 
Collection and Dissemination Centre at Nirbachan Bhaban in the 
capital's Agargaon today.
