DHAKA, Feb 13, 2026 (BSS) - Bangladesh Nationalist Party (BNP) candidate MA Muhith has unofficially secured victory in the Sirajganj-6 constituency in the 13th national parliament election, according to preliminary results.

Muhith received a total of 171508 votes, comfortably defeating his closest rival, SM Saif Mustafiz of National Citizen Party (NCP), who secured 103884 votes.

The information was formally announced by Akhtar Ahmed, Secretary of the Election Commission of Bangladesh, during a press briefing at the results collection and presentation center set up at the Agargaon Election Building in Dhaka, today.
