DHAKA, Feb 13, 2026 (BSS)- Bangladesh Nationalist Party (BNP) candidate Nurul 
Amin has been declared winner from Chattogram-1 constituency in unofficial 
results of the 13th Jatiya Sangsad (JS) Election.

He bagged 1,28,799 votes while his nearest rival Bangladesh Jamaat-e-Islami 
candidate Mohammad Saifur Rahman got 84,538 votes.

In the referendum, 1,18,198 voters cast votes for 'Yes' while 88,490 others 
cast 'No' votes.
 
Election Commission Senior Secretary Akhtar Ahmed announced the result at the 
Result Collection and Dissemination Centre at Nirbachan Bhaban in the 
capital's Agargaon today.
