DHAKA, Feb 13, 2026 (BSS)- Bangladesh Jamaat-e-Islami candidate Md Ruhul Amin 
has been declared winner from Chuadanga-2 constituency in unofficial results 
of the 13th Jatiya Sangsad (JS) Election.

He bagged 2,08,011 votes while his nearest rival Bangladesh Nationalist Party 
(BNP)-nominated candidate Mahmud Hasan Khan got 1,63,877 votes.

In the referendum, 2,57,575 voters cast votes for 'Yes' while 83,129 others 
cast 'No' votes. 

Election Commission Senior Secretary Akhtar Ahmed announced the result at the 
Result Collection and Dissemination Centre at Nirbachan Bhaban in the 
capital's Agargaon today.
