DHAKA, Feb 13, 2026 (BSS)- BNP candidate Dipen Dewan unofficially elected from Rangamati constituency in the 13th Jatiya Sangsad (JS) Election.

He bagged 2,01,544 votes, while his nearest rival independent candidate Pohel Chakma got 31,222 votes.

In the referendum, 71,699 voters cast votes for 'Yes' while 1,79,805 cast 'No' votes. 

Election Commission Senior Secretary Akhtar Ahmed announced the result at the Result Collection and Dissemination Centre at Nirbachan Bhaban in the capital's Agargaon today.
