BNP candidate Farzana Sharmin -File Photo

DHAKA, Feb 13, 2026 (BSS) - BNP candidate Farzana Sharmin has clinched an 
unofficial victory in the Natore-1 constituency of the 13th Jatiya Sangsad 
(JS) Election.

She secured 102,726 votes while her nearest rival Bangladesh Jamaat-e-Islami 
candidate Md Abul Kalam Azad received 90,568 votes.

Election Commission Senior Secretary Akhtar Ahmed announced the result 
today at the Result Collection and Dissemination Centre at Nirbachan Bhaban 
in the capital's Agargaon.
