BNP candidate Abdul Bari wins Joypurhat-2 -Photo: BSS

DHAKA, Feb 13, 2026 (BSS) - Bangladesh Nationalist Party (BNP) candidate Md Abdul Bari has been declared winner from Joypurhat-2 constituency in unofficial results of the 13th national election.

He secured 158065 votes while his nearest rival Bangladesh Jamaat-e-Islami candidate SM Rashidul Alam got 92517 votes.

Election Commission Senior Secretary Akhtar Ahmed disclosed the information at a briefing held at the 13th Jatiya Sangsad Result Collection and Dissemination Centre at Nirbachan Bhaban in the capital's Agargaon tonight.
