DHAKA, Feb 13, 2026 (BSS)- BNP candidate Salahuddin Ahmed has been declared winner from Cox’s Bazar-1 constituency in unofficial results of the 13th Jatiya Sangsad Election.

He bagged 2,22,019 votes while his nearest rival Bangladesh Jamaat-e-Islami candidate Abdullah Al Faruk got 1,29,728 votes.

Election Commission Senior Secretary Akhtar Ahmed announced the result at Result Collection and Dissemination Centre at Nirbachan Bhaban in the capital’s Agargaon tonight.
