DHAKA, Feb 13, 2026 (BSS)- BNP candidate Abul Kalam Azad Siddiqui has been declared winner from the Tangail-7 constituency in unofficial results of the 13th Jatiya Sangsad Election.

He bagged 141,253 votes while his nearest rival Bangladesh Jamaat-e-Islami candidate Mohammad Abdullah Ibne Abul Hossain got 71,040 votes.

In the referendum, 146,317 voters cast ‘yes’ vote while 47,141 voters cast ‘no’ vote in the constituency.
 
Election Commission Senior Secretary Akhtar Ahmed disclosed the information at a briefing held at the 13th Jatiya Sangsad Result Collection and Dissemination Centre at Nirbachan Bhaban in the capital’s Agargaon tonight.
