DHAKA, Feb 11, 2026 (BSS) - The Election Commission (EC) has asked returning officers and assistant returning officers to report on voter turnout rate in four phases during polling day tomorrow.

The EC in a letter today asked that voter turnout rates be collected from each constituency four times during the day at specified intervals - at 10:00 am, 12:00 noon, 2:00 pm, and finally after the end of voting - from the presiding officers of the polling centers.

The Election Commission as well as the Chief Adviser's Office will monitor these statistics.
