DHAKA, Feb 9, 2026 (BSS) - Bangladesh Jamaat-e-Islami Ameer Dr Shafiqur Rahman addressed the nation simultaneously on Bangladesh Television and Bangladesh Betar this evening.

Regarding women dignity, Jamaat Ameer said the society that fails to uphold the dignity of women can never prosper. 

He assured that if Jamaat comes to power, women will not remain confined to the household but will proudly assume leadership roles in the mainstream of society.

He said women's merit would be evaluated without discrimination in all sectors, from the corporate world to politics. 

Pledging to build a country where no mother or sister would have to live in insecurity, he called upon women to support his party in the struggle to protect rights and dignity.

Dr. Shafiqur Rahman in his address to nation also called for national unity, moral renewal and ethical leadership to guide Bangladesh toward a just, democratic and prosperous future.
