DHAKA, Feb 9, 2026 (BSS) - The Election Commission (EC) has introduced four easy methods for voters to know their polling centre and voter number ahead of the upcoming 13th Jatiya Sangsad elections and referendum.
Voters can now quickly and accurately collect their required information from home using the ways, said a press release of the Election Commission Secretariat.
Firstly, voters need to download and install the Smart Election Management BD app from the smart phone Play Store or App Store.
From the app dashboard, by selecting "13th Jatiya Sangsad Election" and going to the "Find Polling Centre" option, voters will be able to know their voter number, serial and polling centre name and address by providing NID number and date of birth.
Secondly, voters can call 105 from any phone and press 9 to talk to an operator. In this case, the voter's NID number and date of birth will be required. This service will be available daily from 6 am to midnight.
Thirdly, voters can go to the mobile message option and type PC, give a space and write the NID number and send it to 105. The voter will receive the desired information through a return SMS.
Fourthly, voters can obtain information from the "Polling Centre" menu on the EC's official website in two ways: firstly, by viewing the list of centres based on electoral area and upazila; secondly, by inputting NID number and date of birth.
The website also offers facilities to view the location of the polling centre and travel routes through Google Maps.
