KISHOREGANJ, Feb 2, 2026 (BSS) - Bangladesh Jamaat-e-Islami Ameer Dr. Shafiqur Rahman will visit Kishoreganj tomorrow (February 3) to attend an election meeting..

Ahead of the visit, Kishoreganj District Jamaat-e-Islami organized a press conference at 11:30 am on Monday at the district Jamaat office in Nogua area of the town.

Addressing the press conference, District Secretary Maulana Nazmul Islam said the election meeting will 
begin at 9:00 am at the Katiadi Government College ground. Jamaat Ameer Dr. Shafiqur Rahman is scheduled to deliver the chief guest’s speech around 10:30 am.

He added that all necessary preparations have been completed to ensure the success of the meeting, including maintaining discipline and order.

Leaders of various political parties allied under the 11-party alliance, along with district and upazila-level Jamaat leaders, will also address the meeting. 

A total of 11 candidates from six constituencies of the district are expected to be present.
