RANGPUR, Feb 1, 2026 (BSS) - BNP-nominated candidate for Rangpur-3 (Sadar and Rangpur City) constituency Md Shamsuzzaman Samu has been carrying out election campaigns in different areas of the constituency as part of the ongoing electioneering for the 13th National Parliament Election. 

Ahead of the polls, Samu has been conducting campaign activities, including meetings and mass communication programmes, with party leaders and activists in the constituency.

As part of the campaign, an election meeting was held at Senpara Ershad More area of Ward No 21 of Rangpur Metropolitan City on Saturday night.

Party leaders, activists and local residents gathered at the meeting venue.

Ershad Mour Business Association President Azgar Ali presided over the event.

Shamsuzzaman Samu attended the meeting as the chief guest.

During his speech, Samu thanked the attendees and called on voters to support him in the upcoming elections.

Senior joint convener of Rangpur Metropolitan BNP Shahidul Islam Mizu, Spain BNP Joint General Secretary Zakirul Islam Zakir, Metropolitan BNP members Abdus Salam and Abed Ali, District BNP member Masuk Jalal Rahat, District Jubo Dal Vice-president Faruk Ahmed, Metropolitan Krishak Dal Convener and Krishak Dal Central Assistant Organizing Secretary Shah Newaz Labu and Ward No 21 BNP President Sharif Lablu Lebu, Spain expatriate Monwar Hossain Monu, among others, addressed the meeting.
