JAMALPUR, Jan 31, 2026 (BSS) - Jamaat-e-Islami Ameer Dr Shafiqur Rahman will join an electioneering meeting in the district town tomorrow.

District unit of the party is organising the meeting ahead of the upcoming general election slated for February 12, said a press release signed by Secretary General of District Jamaat-e-Islami Advocate Mohammad Abdul Awal here today. 

He said 11 party alliances have made necessary arrangements to hold the meeting at Singhajani Multipurpose High School field in the town at 10:00 am tomorrow.

He said the Jamaat Ameer will address the meeting as the chief guest.
