DHAKA, Jan 30, 2026 (BSS) - Islami Andolon Bangladesh Ameer Mufti Syed Muhammad Rezaul Karim, widely known as Charmonai Pir, today urged the country's young generation to cast their first votes in favour of 'Hat Pakha', the election symbol of the party to 'establish justice in the country'. 

He made the remarks this afternoon while addressing an election rally as the chief guest at the Jamalpur High School in Kaliganj, in support of Islami Andolon Bangladesh-nominated candidate for Gazipur-5 constituency, Maulana Gazi Ataur Rahman.

Rezaul Karim said the objective for which the people of Bangladesh fought the War of Independence can be fulfilled only by Islam, as it alone can ensure equality, human dignity, and social justice.

"Therefore, my call to the youth is to vote for the world's best ideology. Cast your vote in favor of Islam," he said.

Gazipur-5 candidate Maulana Gazi Ataur Rahman said that under the pretext of development, opportunities for corruption have been created in the country and misrule has been established. 

If Islami Andolon Bangladesh comes to power, this situation will be changed and a just, values-based society will be established, he said.

Central and local leaders of Islami Andolon Bangladesh, along with a large number of leaders, activists, and supporters, were present at the rally.
