RAJSHAHI, Jan 29, 2026 (BSS)- BNP Chairman Tarique Rahman has joined the election rally in the districts' Madrasha Field. 

He reached the rally venue at 1:51 pm after landing at Shah Makhdum Airport in Rajshahi at 12:20 pm today. 
 
After landing at the airport, Tarique Rahman went to the shrine of Hazrat Shah Makhdum (R) amid tight security. 

After offering dua at the shrine, he proceeded to the rally venue at the Madrasa Field. 

This is Tarique Rahman's first visit to Rajshahi as the party chief. Previously, he had visited Rajshahi in 2004.
 
On the occasion of the election rally, the Madrasa Field has been filled to capacity with party leaders and activists. A large number of leaders and activists are also gathered in the surrounding areas.
 
Leaders and activists from Rajshahi district and metropolitan areas, as well as from Natore and Chapainawabganj, are participating in this rally.
 
After concluding the Rajshahi rally, Tarique Rahman will travel to Naogaon. 

Following his speech at the Naogaon rally, he will go to Bogura, where he will address another public rally later at night in his own electoral constituency.
