RAJSHAHI, Jan 27, 2026 (BSS) - Bangladesh Jamaat-e-Islami candidate for Rajshahi-2 (Sadr) constituency, Dr. Mohammad Jahangir Alam, has begun his election campaign as the general election will be held on February 12.
 
Dr. Jahangir Alam started his campaign Tuesday morning at Barnali Intersection, interacting with the public and sharing his vision for the constituency. During the outreach, he visited homes and sought votes in favor of his party. 
   
Speaking to voters, Dr. Jahangir Alam emphasized the party’s commitment to promoting good governance, justice, and eradicating corruption. He said, “There is no alternative to Jamaat-e-Islami to build a society free of corruption and ensure the rights of the people.”

He further pledged that, if elected, he would focus on improving education, healthcare, employment opportunities, and civic services in the constituency. The campaign event was attended by leaders and activists of Jamaat-e-Islami and allied organizations.
