RANGPUR, Sept 1, 2026 (BSS) – Two separate mobile courts fined four factories a total of Taka 75,000 for violating rules, regulations and consumer rights at different places of Dinajpur and Kurigram districts on Monday afternoon.
The Rapid Action Battalion (RAB)-13 and the Directorate of National Consumer Rights Protection jointly conducted the mobile courts in the Dinajpur Municipality area of Dinajpur and Kurigram Sadar upazila of Kurigram, a press release said here today.
In Dinajpur, the court fined Hridoy Agro Industry Taka 10,000, Food Care Taka 30,000 and BA Food and Bakery Taka 30,000 in the Dinajpur Municipality area for production of products violating the Consumer Rights Protection Act 2009.
In Kurigram, the mobile court fined a pharmaceutical factory Taka 5,000 and its goods and products were destroyed due to the absence of batch number, mark and production and expiry dates of products produced without government approval.
