RANGPUR, July 25, 2026 (BSS) - Rapid Action Battalion (RAB) in two separate raids seized 213 bottles of phensedyl-like ESKuf syrup and two motorcycles and arrested three alleged drug dealers from different places of Gaibandha yesterday evening.

 The arrestees are Shipul Chandra Mahanta, 33, of village Chhoto Durgapur and Md Aminul Islam, 38, of village Fakirpara under Sadar police station and Md Mahabub Alam alias Bhutto, 50, of village Muraripur under Palashbari police station of Gaibandha, a press release said today.

Of them, Shipul Chandra Mahanta and Md Aminul Islam were arrested with 65 bottles of Eskuf syrup and a motorcycle from Durgapur village under Sadar police station of Gaibandha at 5:55 pm.

On the other hand, Md Mahabub Alam alias Bhutto was arrested with 148 bottles of Eskuf syrup and a motorcycle in front of Nakaihat Success Model School under Gobindaganj police station of Gaibandha at 7:45 pm.

After filing two separate cases in these incidents, the elite force handed over the arrested persons and seize drugs to the respective police stations for further legal action.
