GAZIPUR, May 22, 2026 (BSS) - The Blue Panel nominated by the Jatiyatabadin Ainjibi Forum (JAF) secured a sweeping victory, including the posts of president and general secretary in the Gazipur District Bar Association election for the 2026-2027 session.

Election Commissioner and PP Advocate Mostafa Kamal formally announced the results at around 10:30 pm last night.

In the election, Blue Panel led by Jatiyatabadi Ainjibi Forum-nominated presidential candidate Advocate Md Zakirul Islam and general secretary candidate Advocate Md Kamrul Hasan Shakil won by a huge margin.

Independent candidate Advocate Abdul Hamid was elected vice-president.

Other winning candidates of JAF are joint secretary Mahbub Alam Molla, treasurer Md Mojammel Haque, library secretary Md Ashraful Hossain Gazi, auditor Mahbub Alam, sports and cultural secretary Md Shah Alam, and women affairs secretary Sultana Parvin.

Those elected as members are Aliul Islam Tutul, Abdullah, Md Abu Bakkar Siddiqui, Alamgir Hossain, Alamin Islam Ashik and Rozina Akter.

However, Advocate Fahim Ibne Jalal (Shaon) was elected member post from the Green Panel.
