RAJSHAHI, April 23, 2026 (BSS) - A seminar was held in Rajshahi to expand export trade and raise awareness about proper documentation processes.

The seminar, titled ‘How to Conduct Export Trade and Documentation,’ was organized today in the conference room of the Rajshahi Divisional Commissioner’s Office.
 
Organized by Bangladesh Export Promotion Bureau with the cooperation of the divisional administration, the seminar was chaired by the Bureau’s Vice President and Chief Executive, Mohammad Hasan Arif.

The chief guest at the event was Divisional Commissioner Dr. A. N. M. Bazlur Rashid.
 
The seminar featured detailed discussions on various aspects of export trade, strategies for entering international markets, and proper documentation procedures.

The keynote paper on the topic was presented by A. M. Alamgir Hossain, Director of the Export Promotion Bureau. The seminar chair, Mohammad Hasan Arif, spoke as the main discussant on the keynote paper.
 
During the panel discussion, participants included Masudur Rahman Rinku, President of the Rajshahi Chamber of Commerce and Industry; Abdul Wahed, President of the Chapainawabganj Chamber of Commerce and Industry; Liakat Ali, President of the Bangladesh Silk Industry Owners Association and Rosetty Naznin, President of the Rajshahi Women Chamber of Commerce and Industry.

They shared their views on existing problems, potential, and necessary actions in the export sector.
 
This type of seminar is organized to develop new exporters from the grassroots level and to involve small and women entrepreneurs in export activities. 

Importers-exporters, small entrepreneurs, women entrepreneurs, and other relevant individuals from various districts of the Rajshahi division participated in the seminar.
