GAIBANDHA, Feb 25, 2026 (BSS)- A carpenter died from electrocution while installing Corrugated Iron (CI) sheet on a house of Pal Mansion of the town 
here last afternoon.
 
The deceased was identified as Azgar Ali, 45, son of Khoka Miah, hailed from Kholabari village under Ballamjhar Union of Sadar upazila in the district.

According to the witnesses, Azgar Ali was installing a CI sheet on the Pal Mansion house of the town on Monday afternoon. During the time, he 
accidentally came in contact with a nearby live-wire and electrocuted. 

Officer-in-Charge (OC) of Sadar thana Md. Abdullah Al-Mamun confirmed the incident.
