LALMONIRHAT, Jan 13, 2026 (BSS) - A motorcyclist was killed in a road accident on the Kakina-Chapartola road of the district last night.

The deceased was Md Rahibul Islam, 45, son of Md Abu Taleb of Tushbandar area.

The accident occurred when a stone-loaded truck hit a motorcycle in the area, leaving motorcycle rider Rahibul killed on the spot.

Kaliganj Thana Officer-in-Charge Md Abu Siddique said police seized the killer truck.

A case has been filed in this regard.
