KHULNA, Jan 11, 2026 (BSS) – An eight-day training workshop aimed at developing more service-oriented and skilled human resources among officials and employees (Grades 6–20) of Khulna City Corporation (KCC) began today.

KCC Chief Executive Officer (CEO) Rajib Ahmed inaugurated the workshop this afternoon at the GIZ Auditorium of the City Building as the chief guest.

Addressing the event, Rajib Ahmed said a significant portion of the training focuses on laws and rules, noting that all city corporation employees must have sound knowledge of relevant legal and regulatory frameworks.

The workshop has been organised under the internal training plan for FY 2025–2026 in line with directives of the Local Government Division and following the advice of the C4C (JICA) project to improve service quality.

Selected officials and staff will receive subject-based training daily from 3 pm to 5 pm.
