JAMALPUR, Dec 9, 2025 (BSS) - The International Anti-Corruption Day was observed in today through various programmes the district.

The Anti-Corruption Day -2025 is observed with the slogan "Uniting with Youth Against Corruption: Shaping Tomorrow's Integrity.

The District Administration, Anti-Corruption Commission (ACC), District Corruption Prevention Committee (DCPC) and Conscious Citizen Committee (CCC) jointly organized programmes that included hoisting of the national flag, a rally and a discussion meeting marking the day.

A discussion meeting was held at the conference room of the Deputy Commissioner with Deputy Director of ACC, Md Abu Syeed, in the chair.

Deputy Commissioner Mohammad Yusuf Ali addressed the meeting as the chief guest. 

He emphasized preparing the young generation with honesty and integrity, adding that an honest person is always remembered and respected in society.

Chief Executive Officer Sarkar Abdullah Al Mamun Babu, Additional Superintendent of Police Yahia Al Mamun, President of District CCC Shamima Khan, Secretary of DCPC Zahangir Selim, and President of Jamalpur Press Club Md Mukhlesur Rahman also spoke on the occasion.

Earlier, Deputy Commissioner Mohammad Yusuf Ali formally inaugurated the day's programme by releasing balloons at the ACC distrct office premises.

A rally led by the Deputy Commissioner paraded the main roads and concluded at the Deputy Commissioner's office premises.
